I read books on my Nexus Tablet. I hate when i am off line and I am researching and get the interruption that a rating is required. I tried to by pass it and nothing. I pops up again. The maps may be good, but the interruption makes my influence towards a rating despicable. Buy it though. Not much information. Enlarging the image does not help.
I have kindle paper white and tried Bible Maps. Even when using the zoom these maps are still hard to see with great near vision. I would recommend Amazon removes this item for use on a kindle, I returned it for credit.
The American Bible Society does good work, but not here. They may have been useful in book form, but these maps are almost completely unreadable for Kindle, and I tried a Kindle Fire, the Kindle App on an Android 10 inch tablet, and the free Kindle for PC on a Windows machine with a 17 inch screen. The maps are crowded with so many details that you can't see any of them, and there is no way to blow them up. (I tried the Windows screen capture function, and that was no help, either.) Sorry.
This looks like it might have been fine except large maps are displayed on that 6 inch screen and I can't read a thing on them. If my Kindle has a zoom feature I don't know how to find it! So..... guess it's 3 bucks down the drain, but still love my Kindle just should not buy stuff that has not yet been reviewed.
I almost didn't buy this book because it had such a bad review, but when I read the reviews, I noticed the people didn't realize kindles have a zoom feature. There is a zoom feature. You just touch the map and hold down for a minute and the option shows up.The book is very short. It has maps that are in many Bibles. I find it useful to have on my kindle so I can check the maps when I'm on the road and only have my kindle Bible. Even though it's short and only has a few maps, it's very useful for the price.
