I eagerly read on and could not wait to see if I was right (I was not).This story was well thought out and cleverly written (the author really did her research). The plot was intriguing and it kept me guessing (I like that in a book). There were several twists and turns in store before the reader was lead to big reveal, which was a huge surprise! I did not even consider what really happened and why — or how. The story was a definite page-turner that thoroughly entertained me from beginning to end. The best Bodhi King novel yet!TWISTED PATH was another five star read from Ms. Miller and I am looking forward to the next book in this series. In the meantime, I will continue to read her other series: Sasha McCandless Legal Thrillers, Aroostine Higgins Thrillers and the We Sisters Three Mystery series.AfterThought: Bodhi's companion, Eliza Doolittle, was a great character!
This was really interesting book. Dr. Bodhi King is consulting on a case that he had been involved with several years ago when he was a medical examiner. How could the DNA from the murderer in the first case be at the new crime scene when the murderer is in prison? Melissa Miller has done a lot of research for this story. It was a really twisted path to the end and hard to see how it was going to end.I can't wait for the next book!
Excellent!Twisted Path is another excellent book by Ms. Miller!How was the DNA of a convicted prisoner who is serving a life sentence collected at the scene of the murder of the husband of the woman he murdered? What happened? Read the book and find out!If I could, I would give more than five stars!
This was just as well written but bc I am familiar with he subject matter I saw this one coming. Still very well written and I can't wait for the next one. You have to hand it to the author, she does some serious research and doesn't lay out a bunch of impossibles. Thanks for that.

To be honest, I love all of Melissa Miller's books. This one is a learning experience. I really liked the macaw, a nice little personal touch. We learned more about the main characters and why they did what they did. And it took the entire book to learn everything. I couldn't put it down.
Dr. Bodhi King is an intuitive and sensitive physician. I haven’t read about coroners embracing compassion very often. The puzzles are engrossing and the writing is well done. I look forward to his next adventure.
I always enjoy Melissa Miller’s books. I think this is my favorite Bodhi King book. Excellent story! I look forward to the next adventure!
