I'm not a fan of redundancy, so hearing the author describe the main character's bank account so many times was quite irritating to me. Also, the book could stand some additional editing. Although the story was quite interesting and kept you on the edge of your seat, it was also a bit choppy and rushed. The characters were not developed very well either. My last gripe is that this book has a part 2 and unlike most other books written in parts, part 1 does not end in a manner that would allow it to stand alone. This book is something to occupy your time while you wait for your doctor at a OB-GYN appointment.EyeCU Reading-unimpressed
3.5 stars! I don't think this was supposed to be a comedy but I laughed the whole time. Ain't. No. Damn. WAY!!! Did she really sign some papers and didn't read them because she was eating chicken?! Did she really combine bank accounts with a dude and let ALL of her primary money go into it?? Baby that's not Karma coming for you... that's Lucifer sitting right on your couch watching you make a mess! And now I'm about to get book two because this was a cliffhanger and I need to see what Strawberry does next!
Tiffany was lonely and looking for someone the fill the void in her life. She met Tobias and thought she have the man of her dreams. Tiffany starts to realize things are not what they seem a little to late. Lies and deception are revealed.Tobias shows is true colors. Will he continued with the plan or will he have a change of heart.This book had on pins and needles wait to see what happens next.
I haven't read in quite a while, and I'm glad that I chose this story to get back into books! It was well written, full of suspense, an of course full of drama! I really enjoyed reading this, and look toward to reading the sequel. Good job B.M. Hardin!! As usual, you left me excited about what's going to happen next ☺☺
You never really know a person until they show their true colors and sometimes that's still not enough until you're faced with drama, real drama. I had a feeling about this man strawberry fell head over hill in love with. He acted the same. So many clues, but I never seen the chain of events. He is a monsters. All the betrayal and secrets began to snowball. Good writing, good book, I sure wanna know whose behind all the incidents happening to her.
This book has drawn me in from the first page and it has been an absolutely non- stop page turner. Strawberry,is looking for love and marriage. She also has sisters too.Ray comes back into the picture.Where this story goes,I don't know but I'm willing to take this journey to see,A really great read ,I've all ready brought book 2. Anyone looking for a great read start here you will not be disappointed.
I enjoyed the book, but it did move fairly quickly. It is hard to fully connect to the characters that way.
Regrets regrets Get to know somebody first before you said I DO. Her biggest mistake was the worse but the best is yet to come. Can't wait to read Part II. Love the suspense sick and tired of reading street urban fiction about drugs, cheating and beating. Keep up the great work as a writer!!
