We actually found this map more helpful then I expected. We went on a vacation through Transylvania, and compared to the map of the other people in my group, this map had indications of the scenic routes (green) as well as the points of interest to tourists flagged with 3, 2 or 1 star, which the other maps did not have. So this pointed us to a few more things of interest nearby that we would have otherwise missed. Some of those points I did not see even see in travel guides (e.g. Rapa Rosie - the red canyons in Alba County), but after googling realized that yes they were worth a detour.Also, I thought it had good up-to-date information. The Bucharest - > Timisoara highway is indicated on the map with dotted lines where planned and solid lines were completed, and the completed / not completed info was not vary far out of date.
Good detail, will post about accuracy after we try to use it on our road trip next month
There might be thousands of little villages too small to be on the map, but whatever the reason it wasn't always easy to reconcile the villages we were in with the map. Highly recommend having a GPS. One other complaint was a road that appeared to be relatively major on the map but was incredibly rough, keeping our speed below 20 km/hour.
We drove around Romania for a week and found this map (though slightly outdated) to be a BIG help getting around.
. It shows only small part of Budapest. Very small portion of the Buda side. Believe me, I was born there.
