I’ve now read all three books in this series, which began with “Revenge at Snake Bend†and I look forward to each new arrival with anticipation. So far I’ve not been disappointed.“A Cowboy’s Honorâ€, begins where the events of “Justice Comes Home†left off and is filled with action, as well as some surprising “plot†twists that I really did not see coming. No. No “spoilers†here, you’ll have to read the book ïŠMr. Powell’s writing is, I find, refreshingly honest, and this book is no exception as he holds firm to his principles and delivers a very good read without the unnecessary reliance on profanity and sex scenes in order to fill the pages.Yes. I highly recommend this book, and it, as well as the previous two books in the series are all, in my opinion both “adult†and “Young Reader†friendly.Hopefully you too will agree.
Each book is an ongoing story intertwining with the previous ones. You just can't wait to see what happens. There is a lot of action, for sure. There is also mystery. Most of all, it's about a family that sticks together, always. There is love and commitment. There is bravery. This is extremely well written. I cannot wait for the next one, to see who it's about. I recommend this book highly.
Once again a well-written book in the Texas Riders series. Well organized descriptive pose. Joseph knows these characters; they are family to him, and it shows. Join him as the family history unfolds before your eyes. You can read each of these as a stand-alone but I recommend reading them in series.
Once again a great read. From the beginning to the end it grabs your attention and time flys by. The characters comes alive and the descriptions of the scenery makes you feel like you are riding along with them. You get to open a book and feel like you are there seeing it all happen first hand.
I was given advance copy to read, check for errors and review.This is a follow on to a new series based in Texas. Good characters, decent storyline, well written and fairly accurate for weapons used at that time. Thanks for opportunity to review.
Excellent Story to read . It has a lot of strong family values Incorporated in the story. A strong storyline with good characters. The author did a great job on this page turning book again.
Rex Wallace has had his share of heartache and pain. Will he be able to outrun his troubles or will more people be in danger? Another great story about the Wallace family. (Debbie Turner)
I voluntarily reviewed the advanced reader copy of this.Great western, plenty of action and intrigue, I thoroughly enjoyed the characters and their story, I couldn't put in down.
