This is a must-read book for those naïve enough to imagine that GMO foods are harmless; particularly important for the parents of young children.This book documents the kinds of ailments by type of GMO food. Since Monsanto was able to introduce these dangerous foods without any long-term health studies, the entire American population are guinea pigs, with the primary evidence of illness through epidemiology. According to some epidemiologists, Americans are now among the sickest people in the world....
Probably one of the most comprehensive books written on the subject of GMO. A must read if you care about our environment, our health and our children. There is no question the science of genetic engineering can bring goodness if it is taken seriously. The problems arise when regulatory agents are not doing what they are supposed to do, giving rooms to those who are driven by commercial interests to manipulate research directions and data, misleading the public to believe that all is well.
I did not realize this book had more than one copyright date and I seem to have gotten the older one. Lots of great information within, but it stops at the copyright date time. Seems to be more of an information book rather than a good read, however. Not exactly what I thought it would be, but great source for all the times GMO's have been challenged with the case outcomes.
Excellent book! Everyone should have this and share with friends, family, and children. Our food supply is under attack and thus so is our health. It's critical that we educate ourselves and make wise choices for our food and health.
Lot of important things to consider, Monsanto is trying to replace Nature. They really should be held responsible for all the farmer suicides and other awful repurcussions of their "modifiations". Long term use creates so many health issues for both people and animals. And the soil...no life there.
Captivating book. Very enlightening but also very disturbing. The health risks of GMO's are well documented. This book has altered my diet and food choices. I highly recommend it.
